About Us

My journey in landscaping began at fourteen, working maintenance at Fredonia Place. I started with mowing and weeding, and before long, I was handling full landscaping jobs—mulching, planting, and more. A year later, I moved into construction and property management with a local company in Fredonia, where I quickly stood out by putting in full days while most kids my age worked short shifts for extra cash. That drive led to bigger responsibilities and a deeper understanding of the business.

Over the winter, I decided to take a leap. Inspired by a family friend who ran their own business, I realized landscaping was the perfect fit for my work ethic and passion. I spent the off-season building everything from scratch—designing ads, creating my brand, and getting the word out.

My first job came after hand-delivering 100 business cards in one night. A kind woman needed her leaves cleaned up. Armed with just a rake and determination, I got it done—and I haven’t stopped since.

Today, Emerald Edge has proudly served over 150 clients, expanded into full-scale landscaping and construction, and built a team that’s as dedicated as I am. We’re not just a business—we’re a community of hard workers who take pride in every job.
